Real Palace Hotel - Rio de Janeiro

The location is fantastic, just two blocks from Copacabana beach.

I thoroughly enjoyed its a nice size and recently refurbished rooms.

I booked a room with a good bed, a mini-bar, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and climate control😃

I was shocked this hotel has 4 stars, the breakfast was awful, and we skipped it after the first day! I also just couldn't believe they charged for bottled water, with no warning. The windows in our room wouldn't lock. I expected a room upgrade, but apparently, a guest's comfort isn't a priority here.

The restaurant here was great for the buffet breakfast, we both ordered fresh dishes. The staff was attentive and the room was recently refurbished with exceptionally comfortable beds. The location was great and the beach was blocks from the hotel.

The breakfast spread was a treat, y'all! Fresh pastries and some mean coffee made mornings brighter. The staff were so friendly, like they were fixin' to make your day. Only downside was the noisy street kept me up a might. Such a cozy place overall with a perfect location near the beach!

hotel is of old construction but well cared for, we entered and room was clean, I stayed with my husband and our girls of 7 and 1 year and it was a fair room in size but comfortable. They also gave me an internship. shower comes out with very good water pressure. breakfast buffet as well as the attention of those who served it is excellent! breakfast is exquisite, varied and abundant. We received very good attention and staff is very warm, swimming pool is small but it is very good to refresh yourself because the sea is a block and a half away, it has a sauna and a mini gym and towel service for the beach and swimming pool. it is highly recommended that I stay in the same hotel again.

We arrived and were told that with our reservation we could access the hotel next door (Royal Rio Palace, I guess they are the same owner) and truth was wonderful! room was small but very clean, hot water, comfortable bed, people who work in the hotel always attentive and willing to help you in ll we need. It has a terrace with an incredible view, swimming pool, deck, lounge chairs, armchairs, sauna and gym, they give you towels and robes for the facilities of the terrace and also lend towels for the beach. super abundant breakfast varied, from fried, yogurts, juices, coffee, tea, cakes, desserts, all the breads that you imagine, variety of cold cuts, bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, churros, chipa, bills, ALL! location is ideal two blocks from Copacabana, one block from a supermarket there are places to eat everywhere! I highly recommend Royal Rio Palace

Everything's great!

The rooftop swimming pool offers fine views of Christ the Redeemer. The location, just a short five-minute walk to the beach, is a major plus for quick beach access.

On my stay, I dealt with a few inconveniences. The breakfast selection was smaller than advertised, and the hot food didn't meet expectations. Not having the option to leave luggage after check-out was quite inconvenient.

GREAT BREAKFAST. Responsive staff. clean.

Just a good pick for a momentary visit in Rio de Janeiro with very nice value for money. The location near Copacabana Beach made it super convenient for exploring, even if the cleanliness could use some work. If you're looking for somewhere affordable, just lower your expectations.

Great location for beach lovers

I enjoyed the excellent breakfast and the amazing views from the pool on the 13th floor. Coordinating activities seamlessly.

The room, while clean, showed signs of wear and could use some updates. At times, the noise from the street was quite intrusive.

Good location

The room was very noisy. I heard almost all sounds around - from the window up to the neighbour´s room. Taxes were not included into the price of room and I´was charged more.
